Pick It Up PA Days — April 19 to May 3
Join this ambitious statewide effort
to remove litter and trash
from Pennsylvania's roadways,
parks, forests, riverbanks,
neighborhoods, and open spaces.
(Free Landfill Disposal Is No Longer Available)

Everyone wants to live, work and play in a clean and green community… and it's up to everyone to make it possible and improve the overall quality of life for us all.

Join Pennsylvanians across the state — and Americans across the nation — in cleaning up litter and trash along our roadsides, streams, parks, forests and neighborhoods. Anyone can help!

Community and civic associations, school and youth groups, families and friends, business employees, hunting and fishing clubs, conservation organizations, sport teams and others can organize their members and participate in the Great PA Cleanup.

Let's Pick It Up PA!

Register Your Event Find an Event Report Your Results

It is VERY important to register your event as part of the Great PA Cleanup. Only registered events will have access to resources and supplies! An “event coordinator” should register the event.

(Free landfill disposal is no longer available!)

Information and location for all the events in your county, including how individuals can volunteer and how local businesses can help sponsor their community cleanups.

KPB and KAB need your facts, figures, and pictures to help promote the event and entice new sponsors. Event coordinators who report the official results will be eligible to enter a special prize drawing! All Great PA Cleanup participants should send their action photos and before and after pictures in .jpg or .jpeg format attached to an e-mail with cleanup info to pictures@greatpacleanup.org.

Take the Next Step     Litter-Free School Zones

"Pick It Up PA — Every Day"
Pick up a piece of litter every day while walking down the street, hiking along a stream or in the woods, fishing, boating, playing in the park, or anywhere else...if we all pick up one piece of litter every day, Pennsylvania will be clean and beautiful!

So you cleaned up the park, stream, forest or eighborhood?… Are you interested in what else you can do?

The Litter-Free School Zone program is a way of encouraging students to keep their school grounds litter-free and help raise the public's awareness of the problem of litter. Every school that registers as a participant in the "Litter-Free School Zone” program will be entered into a random drawing for one of five Home Depot Gift Cards worth $1,000 each. A huge thank you to the Home Depot Corporation for again supporting the Litter-Free School Zone project!
