What is the Great Pennsylvania Cleanup?
The Great Pennsylvania Cleanup is Pennsylvania's participation
in the national Great American Cleanup sponsored by Keep America
Beautiful Inc.
"Pick It Up PA Days" is the main event when Pennsylvanians
from across the Commonwealth conduct cleanup andplanting projects.
Communities are being asked to organize and conduct local
cleanups recruit volunteers, promote your event, and
report your results for inclusion in statewide and national
cleanup totals.
 When will the Great Pennsylvania Cleanup
take place?
Pennsylvania's 2008 "Pick It Up PA Days" are April
19th to May 3rd. The national Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania
runs from March 1 to May 31.

Who can take part in community cleanups?
Local government leaders, business and trade organizations,
community groups and ordinary citizens may take part in community
cleanups.
